At the end of the episode, Taylor wonders if this means the war is coming to an end. She could feel a shift, so she went to Taylor and found a way to make a deal that works for everybody. She sees that Axe buying the company will not only be a bad business move, but that it will harm their relationship.
After ordering his team to liquidate some of the company’s most lucrative positions so that he can buy up an appliance manufacturer for Saler’s, therefore making Rebecca happy and screwing Taylor in the process-a move that leads to Wags, Dollar Bill, and a number of others at Axe Cap staging an intervention about his love-based decision making-Rebecca makes her own deal. So, while Chuck is busy with Jock, Axe has his own war seemingly winding down.
